Since first opening in 2007 with a festive open-air ice rink and charming Christmas markets, Hyde Park Winter Wonderland has grown into one of London’s most iconic holiday attractions. Now in 2025, it continues to draw millions of visitors seeking magical experiences, seasonal shopping, and festive family fun.

Every year, the arrival of November brings more than just chilly weather, it marks the beginning of London’s most magical season: Christmas. And nothing says Christmas in London quite like Hyde Park Winter Wonderland.

Now celebrating its 18th year, Winter Wonderland 2025 promises a bigger and brighter experience than ever before. While you’ll still find the beloved festive attractions we’ve all grown to love, from the ice skating rink and traditional Christmas markets to thrilling fairground rides, this year also introduces brand-new events and festive experiences to discover.

Hyde Park Winter Wonderland opens its gates at 10am on 14th November 2025 and runs for six weeks until 1st January 2026, open daily from 10am to 10pm (closed only on Christmas Day). It’s a must visit destination to soak up the Christmas spirit in the heart of London.

Glide into the festive season at the Hyde Park Winter Wonderland Ice Rink 2025, the largest outdoor ice rink in the UK and one of the most magical attractions in London this Christmas.
Set beneath a twinkling canopy of lights and surrounding a traditional Victorian bandstand, this stunning open-air rink offers the perfect winter experience for families, couples, and friends alike.

Ice skating sessions run every hour from 10am to 9pm, with each session lasting 45 minutes. Tickets for the Winter Wonderland ice rink must be booked separately, and it’s best to reserve early to secure your preferred time slot, this is one of London’s most popular Christmas activities.
