Personalisation Guide
Almost everything we make can be engraved. This guide covers what is possible, how much text will fit, and how to send us your wording.
What We Can Engrave
Names, dates, initials, coordinates, quotes, messages and dedications. Symbols such as hearts, stars and ampersands are usually fine. If you have something specific in mind, send us a message and we will confirm whether it is possible.
How Much Text Will Fit
Because we are engraving into brass, space is finite. Most items hold around 50-70 characters per side, including spaces. Shorter wording is engraved larger and tends to read better. If you are not sure your text will fit, send it to us before ordering and we will check it for you.
Where We Can Engrave
Depending on the piece, we can engrave the front, inside and back. Every product page lists the engraving areas available for that item, so you can use more than one side if you have a longer message.
Fonts
We offer ten font styles, chosen from the dropdown on the product page before you add the item to your cart. If you would like a font we do not list, ask us and we will tell you whether we can match it.
Logos, Signatures and Handwriting
Custom engravings such as company logos, handwriting and signatures are possible on most items. Upload your file on the product page and we will confirm once we have seen the artwork. Clear, high contrast artwork engraves best.
How to Send Us Your Wording
Type your engraving text into the box on the product page exactly as you would like it to appear. We engrave what you send us, including capitalisation and punctuation. Anything unusual can go in the order notes at checkout, or email us after placing your order.
If You Spot a Mistake
Please contact us straight away. Personalised orders move quickly, but if engraving has not started we will be able to correct it for you.

Read your wording back once more and check names, dates and spellings carefully. Our FAQs answer the questions we are asked most, and our returns policy explains where you stand if something is not right.
